LAGOS-The Afrikanwatch Network’s annual lecture on Nation building, African Gold Merit Award, (AGMA), and Induction into the rare African  Legendary Hall of Fame, (ALHF), will hold on May 18, 2024 in Lagos, under the Chairmanship of Distinguished Senator Anthony Adefuye, while Prof. Hope Eghagha, of the University of Lagos will deliver the lecture, titled, Nigerian Politics Of Today : The Quest For National Rebirth … Reclaiming The Identity Of A Nation. Father of the day, is Prof. Fola Lasisi, Ex-Vice Chancellor, University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, as Major-Gen. Victor Odeka rtd, Ex- Director, Army Finance and Account, (DAFA) is the distinguished guest of honour. The occasion will include the unveiling of Afrikanwatch 8th Memoir on the theme of the lecture. Contributors to this Memoir include special interviews featuring, Sen. Anthony Adefuye,  Prof. G.G Darah, Prof. Sunny Awhefeada, Prof. Olatunde Babawale, Prof. Patrick Egbule,  Dr. Otive Igbuzor, and an extract of Prince Fagbemi, SAN, address in the 2020 Afrikanwatch event on the 1999 Constitution, profiles of all awardees and inductees.

Meanwhile a special keynote address will be delivered by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN. The occasion will attract technocrats across Nigeria, to chart a better course for Nigeria and ensure President Ahmed Bola Tinubu succeeds.

Sam Igiebor, is the Online special editor, who has managed the branding of the news outfit since 2015. He is also an advanced cinematographer with track records of excellence and service delivery. Innocent Samuel, is the Deputy online Editor, maintaining the site of the media outfit and providing technical support on the site. He is a trained computer expert with a certified certificate on cyber security abroad. Chidera Eke, is the acting head, News/Strategic Communications, a very committed and intelligent young lady with patriotic gesture to task and duty.
