Afrikanwatch Network Communications has sent a condolence message to the family of the late Second Republic Lawmaker, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, who died during the week. The Media outfit described Junaid as a man who remained resolute to the truth and cares not whose ox was gored till the end. In a press release earlier today through our Editor-in-Chief, Mark C. Orgu, who also have had several interviews with the late lawmaker/elder statesman, noted that, it came with a rude shock that Junaid is no more, but charged the family to take solace in God.
“The death of Dr. Junaid Mohammed is shocking and too sudden. A man who wanted the best for Nigeria and who in his strong beliefs in nation building cannot be overemphasized. He was like John the Baptism in the desert who shouted and lamented the lost consciousness of man towards the good of humanity. Junaid wanted Nigeria- a mini heaven on earth, and spoke fearlessly and passionately about how a new Nigeria with new vision and quality leadership could emerge. He wanted a democratic Nigeria where all will be proud of. Yes, it would be very difficult to have another Junaid Mohammed from the Northern extraction. May God grant him eternal rest and console the family he left behind”. He concluded.
In the same vein, Afrikanwatch condoles with Alhaji Yerima Shettima, the National President, Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, (AYCF) over his Mother’s death during the week, asking the family to have faith in God while hoping for immortality, which is the price of our good while on earth.
