YOBE-Another rape case has been reported by the Nigerian Police in Yobe State on Tuesday against one Mr. Abubakar Musa, an Assistant Headmaster of a school, alleged to have forced a ten year teenage girl to sex. The act happened in Jajere, Fune Local Government Area of the state. Meanwhile, Musa was Paraded in Damaturu by the Police state command’s Spokesman, ASP Dungus Abdulkarim, who noted that Musa work with Jajere Central Primary School, in which the victim, a primary five pupil schools..
According to ASP Abdulkarim, the suspect had canal knowledge of the victim on July 15 and 17 after scolding her. The state reads: “The Investigation reveals that Musa met her in the market where she sells sachet water. “ He then picked two sachets and left after telling her to meet him in an uncompleted building for her money. “As soon as she arrived, he took advantage of the situation and had sexual intercourse with her. “ It was also gathered that Musa lured the victim to a-yet-to-be identified place and had canal knowledge of her. We are now working with the victim to identify the second crime scene,”
In his confessionary statement, Musa, 37, stated that he had sexual intercourse with the victim twice, but blamed on the devil, stressing that, the evil act he committed was done with threat or force. “She has been soliciting for money from me on numerous occasions that was what brought her very close to me. “ It is an unfortunate incident that I regret so much,” he said. However, the Police had noted that they would soon charge the culprit to court to face the law.
