The chairman, Shomolu Local Government Area of Lagos State, Hon. Abdul- Ahmed Salawu has been awarded as one of the best council chairmen in the state for infrastructural development and leadership.

He received the award during a courtesy visit to his office, led by the Chairman, Editorial Advisory Board of the News outfit, Joe Ejiofor and the Editor-in-Chief, Mark Orgu.
The chairman, who applauded the award, noted that, Shomolu has a blueprint plan for development, and he will continue to serve the people with quality leadership.
