DELTA, OROGUN-It was a season of encomium for the President-General of Orogun Kingdom, Chief Barr. Benson Ndakara, who received a letter of commendation from the Orogun Council of Chiefs, led by its Chairman, Chief Johnson Akporugo JP. The letter dated December 24, 2019, and signed by the Secretary of the Council, Chief John Agabi stated that, Ndakara’s humanitarian good works in the Kingdom cannot be quantified, as it would remain a big challenge to any one that will succeed him in future.
The letter highlighted some of the achievements of Ndakara in the Kingdom, which include donation of vehicles and motor cycles for the Okpara-Uku and the Ekpara respectively, payment of electricity bills in Orogun to ensure regular power supply, and financing of the repair of the solar system of the Orogun water project that gives constant supply of water to Otorho-Orogun.
“Thus, on behalf of Orogun Council of Chiefs, we thank you most sincerely for this noble deeds, we pray that God Almighty will continue to grant you and your family good health, abundant resource and long life as you apply yourself to the service of humanity and Orogun clan in particular”, the Council prayed.
