LAGOS-The yearly Impact Mission Initiative ( IMI) lecture and award will hold this week Saturday at the Yaba College of Technology Alumni hall, Yaba, Lagos.  This was according to the Convener, Victor Cletus Mfon, who said that the event promises to be a gathering of people from all walks of life in the society, and will give room to brainstorm and put together ideas, capable of moving Nigeria and Africa forward. “The theme of this year’s lecture is titled, Tourism: the Bedrock to a Socio-economic Growth in Africa” will be delivered by the High Commissioner of Kenya to Nigeria, Amb (Dr) Wilfred G. Machage. On the other hand, the panel topic will be “Nigeria @59: where is our pride and dignity? Rethinking our Greatness.” He stressed.

The event will be chaired by Chief (Dr.) Nzeribe Okegbue, Managing Director, Combatant Guards Limited. A wide set of dignitaries expected at the event will include;  Chief (Dr.) Opral Benson, Honourary Consul, consulate of Liberia; Hon. Tajudeen Ajide, Executive Chairman, Surulere Local Government; Pastor Oluwafemi Martins, Provost, West African Theological Seminary and host others not mentioned.
