LAGOS-Kenyan Canadian-based Lawyer, Dr. Miguna Miguna has on the 27th of April, 2020 endorsed two Kenyan youths for human capacity development for their industriousness in their careers. The two beneficiaries are John Mumo and Betty Jabando. The duo are Kenyans who reside outside the country.
Afrikanwatch Network gathers that John Mumo is a computer scientist from the Laikipia University while Betty Jobando is a graduate of sociology and Arms conflict & peace studies, University of Nairobi. She’s based in commercial city of Nigeria, Lagos. Miss Jobando is a gospel artist and journalist.
In a statement by Dr. Miguna , he said “This week, we empower and feature two brilliant, honest and hardworking young Kenyans: John Mumo, a computer science major from Laikipia University, Chief Executive officer and founder of Tsconect and Betty Jobando, a recording artist based in Lagos, Nigeria. The future belongs to the Youth. Viva!” Miguna tweeted. Betty Jabando on the other hand has recorded a song dedicated to the Kenyan youth titled, ‘It is our season, our time has come’ in which Miguna encouraged her to continue to make the east Africa proud “Betty Jobando, a Kenyan recording artist based in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicates this number to the Kenyan youth: “It is Our Season, Our Time Has Come.” The future is yours. Grab it” Miguna added.
