IKEJA-The Lagos state House of Assembly, (LSHA) has passed two essential bills that forbids open cattle grazing in the state. This is coming after two popular bills scaled through by legislators during the sitting earlier today, as it was the third time. Another important bill that was passed was the Value Added Tax (VAT), which Rivers state has succeeded as the governor immediately swing into action by directing all companies in the state to comply or face the consequence. The end result will now be that companies will now be paying direct taxes to state government.
Meanwhile, the Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa applauded his Colleagues, as he directs the Acting Clerk, Olalekan Onafeko, to transmit the bill to the governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for assent, describing the exercise as historic.
