A retired Director, Department of State Services, (DSS), Dennis Amachree, has said, the assassination attempt made on a former United States President, Donald Trump, is something to worry about, stressing that, if the assassin had succeeded, America would have gone into serious crisis as the country’s democracy is unique.
“Americans express their democratic rights differently. Thank God Trump was not killed and that it was a white boy that took the shot, otherwise there could have been a civil war in the USA. However, looking at this so called assassination attempt professionally, there are too many loopholes that suggest that the whole thing is a setup to gain political mileage!!”
Amachree further wondered why the country’s secret service could not gather intelligence on time or detect the unusual:
“There is no way the USSS can not detect or prevent what happened. It’s a standard procedure. As a former presidential protective detail, I can see the loopholes in that charade. The evacuation process was faulty and slow. In real situation, Trump cant stand and be raising a fist to hail his supporters. Have you seen the video? How can a president get shot and everyone is sweating and watching? Normally they will scatter helter skelter. They can deceive the public…..not a trained person.”
On his part, a retired Assistant Comptroller-General of Immigration, Dr. William Igoni Park, in a separate interview blamed the security, describing the scenario as a total failure of security personnel:
“It is a total failure of the executive protection units or the security service of the US. Yes, human beings make mistakes but that’s not the case of the ex-president making campaign. It is a super intelligent failure even though the eyewitness said they were trying to alert them four or five minutes to the time and they ignored him. The issue remains that it was Trump that saved himself from the bullet that ripped his ear. The people protecting him weren’t smart enough to push him down. The evacuation process too was clumsy. The whole thing was not looking American.”
It could be recall that Trump was shot and injured in an assassination attempt on Saturday night that also killed a spectator and critically injured two others. Snipers killed the shooter, a 20-year-old man, after he fired eight rounds at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
