ABIA-The people of Ariam Usaka in Ikwuano Local Area of Abia State has commended his illustrious son, Chief (Dr) Nzeribe Okegbu JP over his kind gesture, using his foundation to affect lives positively.

This is coming as a result of Nzeribe  Okegbue’s  foundation  palliative to cushion the effect of covid-19 pandemic to his autonomous Communities.  Meanwhile, items distributed by the foundation include: Bags of Rice, Beans, Salts, Cartons of maggi, noodles, wrappers and cash sum of N250, 000 to the five villages that make up Ikemba ward.  Also, Chief John Ekeleme also supported people of Ikemba ward through Nzeribe Okegbue Foundation with cash sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira, while Prince Innocent Eleogu supported with Sixty Thousand Naira only. The distribution of the items   took place at Ndi- Eke Secondary School, Ikemba Community, which attracted men and women from different walks of life from the State.

In his address, the President-General of Ikemba Community, Chief B.C Mgbaramuko expressed warm appreciation to Dr. Okegbue’s Foundation, stressing that, the good work of men will only attract immortality, and only God gives such. He commended the philanthropic gesture of the Nzeribe Okegbue foundation.

Dr. Okegbue, while speaking stressed that, there is nothing better than putting smiles on the faces of the less privilege ones in the society and making them feel happy.” In life, we must begin to think of others, know their challenges, help them the little we can, and then make the society a better place while believing in a brighter future”, he added

He expressed his deep joy and gratitude to his friends and associates who encouraged him in one way or the other to make the occasion successful. He further advised parents to be optimistic of their children’s future and encourage them to be industrious and sincere in their daily activities.

In the same vein, the traditional ruler of Agunba autonomous community, Eze Obaji also commended Okegbue for his love for his people. Others who joined in the accolades include, Commissioner of Housing, Hon. Theophilus Ugboajah , and former Chairman,  Ikwuano Local government Area of the State, Chief (Mrs). Ngozi Orji, and Architect Onyemachi Albert Okegbue.
