DELTA-In a way of promoting traditional history and imbibe the culture of academic excellence, some prominent Orogun Sons have directed the Author of Historiography of Orogun, Divergence in Perspective…our past shapes our present, Mark C. Orgu and his team of promoters to present copies of his book to the Secondary Schools’ library in Orogun Kingdom, as a means of promoting the Kingdom’s history. The donors which include Dr. Otive Igbuzor, Chief of Staff to the Deputy Senate President, Chief Dr. Sunday Ovba, a former President, Orogun Progress Union, UPU, Paul Aghanenu, Auditor-General of Delta State, Olorogun Lucky Omoru, Director-General, Delta Investment Development Agency (DIDA) hailed the author for deeming it fit to embark in a such herculean task.
Meanwhile, according to the Author, the book donation will hold in Orho Erha Secondary School, Ugono-Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta on the 24th of February, 2020,
Secondary Schools to receive the books are Orho-Erha , Emonu , Orogun, and Ovara-Unukpo. The book will be donated as instructed: For Dr. Ovba, ten copies to Orho-Erha Secondary School, ten copies to Emonu Secondary School: Dr.Igbuzor, ten copies, Orogun Grammar School, Mr.Aghanenu, ten copies for Ovara-Unukpo Secondary School, and Chief Omoru, ten copies to Ekruopia Secondary School, Obedeti, while the authors has solicited for more people to donate the books to other secondary and schools primary libraries within the kingdom.
