A fiery former Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has replied the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari , Femi Adesina over his statement that ordinarily, Mr. President would have resolved to dealing decisively with him and Governor  Wike of Rivers state, for their “anti-Buhari tendency” but decided to let go as a father of the Nation. Adesina’s statement reads:

“There was also the then Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, who had formed a tag team with Wike in the anti-Buhari tendency. The President could have dealt with them in many ways, either overtly or covertly, but he let them be. He was a father ready to tolerate his many children, irrespective of their differing idiosyncrasies, propensities and predilections.”

Fayose who felt irritated on the statement reminded Adesina, that, his silence were golden and should not be taken for granted, because Nigeria is ruled by set of deaf leaders, who have deliberately refused to see the reality of bad governance. The former governor made this known via his twitter handle last weekend, warning Adesina to trade with caution:   “Femi Adesina, do you realize I have been quiet for a while, having concluded that Buhari’s Presidency is deaf and dumb? So don’t wake a sleeping lion so as not to be confronted with consequences you can’t contend with” he stated.

It could recalled that the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President had written a controversial piece titled,  Wike Vindicates Buharists’ after Governor Wike received a refund of N78.9bn state for the repair of federal roads and extended an invitation for Mr. President for a state visit.
