LAGOS-The newly appointed Rector of Yaba College of Technology, Engr. (Dr) Ibraheem Abdul has reiterated his commitment towards building on the legacies of his predecessors, even as he wants to build better capacity, synergy, better welfare for staff, partnership with alumni, Fellows of the College among others. “ I am trying to set up a team and department that will oversee this idea, so that, the college will witness greater goodwill and development” he stressed.

Meanwhile, he has lauded the Afrikanwatch Editor-in-Chief, Mark Orgu, for media professionalism, noting however, that he has known the news outfit for some time now, pledging that the College will not deviate in maintaining the long time relations the duo have enjoyed for long . “ In anyway, the college will continue to keep its media partnership and relationship with Afrikanwatch, we will not fail” he noted.
In response, Orgu, thanked the Rector, stressing that, he has known him for some time now as a core administrator and reliable in discharging duties with oriented results. The Editor who is an alumni member of the College pledged to ensure continuity in the area of giving the College good publicity. “ We will not fail in our responsibility to ensure better publicity for the College, as, we have done in the last ten years.
