“We must make our nation to succeed and the pillars of that success is clear; strong and efficient democratic governance with development that will provide opportunities for all Nigerians. We must have a sense of national identity that rejects selfish interest for the future of infrastructural revolution, which should be reachable for all ethnic Nationality.  At this, tough choices must be made in other to arrive at that destination. COMMENTARY-Truly they say, “when Men have been discovered to lack the cognitive and political capacity to aggregate plausible actions to address an urgent crucial situation, the best thing to do is to oversight the inactivity of such persons so that the error of placement will be corrected in due course”.

For Nigeria, a vast majority of its citizens are calling for restructuring of the country because the term ‘United Nigeria’ is not working. The reason why it is not working is because of the greedy leaders, and their act of nepotism in the country. Restructure Nigeria is the only way forward now.

While it remains unfortunate that most of our elected political office holders who have been representing us for years lack political strength to attract the much needed development, majority of them have turned into crops of political businessmen and women, driven to satisfy their selfish interests. Patriotism is a virtue that cannot be bought but inborn, which most Nigerian leaders lack. With the current situation in the country, there is nothing more better than to have a referendum or a new constitution otherwise the country maybe heading for self-destruction.

And for that to happen, we must admit and accept restructuring to enable us go back to regional government. We must make our nation to succeed and the pillars of that success is clear; strong and efficient democratic governance with development that will provide opportunities for all Nigerians. We must have a sense of national identity that rejects selfish interest for the future of infrastructural revolution, which should be reachable for all ethnic Nationality.  At this, tough choices must be made in other to arrive at that destination. We need to create six regional rule, one national assembly and cut down salaries of governance that will discourage corruption. We need to draw out a new draft of existence, we need to change the constitution, another big scam and problem. If we can change our constitution and if we go back to our regional rule, there will be visible development and it will be competitive.

Although, tough choices has to be made in other to arrive at that destination but progress require that we honestly confront the dark corners of our own past, and extent the right opportunities to more of our people. We can choose the part to our progress but it requires making some important decision.

I therefore, charge Federal government to go back to regional rule that will put development strides. Yes, we can do it. Cowardice and selfishness holds back every aspects of infrastructural revolution and civil right. It is time for our people to understand the existential challenge they face, and to be educated on the meaning of true service for our future generation, to let us see and feel the urgency of a new consciousness in public service and political relevance in a renew society, to unite and craft a new vision for our people’s liberation from mediocrity. We need to talk to our political leaders, network, and the credibility and capacity to lead. I believe in one Nigeria, let’s work hand in hand to improve this country’s bad system of governance.

Let’s us not clamour for another civil war.  If we keep going by the agitations that is going on in the country, there will be war and mass killing of people in the country. We need to draft a new constitution, one Federalism is causing chaos and misunderstanding and there is an urgent need for this government to be wise and save the dying nation
