PORT HARCOURT-The Afrikanwatch Network Communications annual lecture and award will hold on August 21 in Lagos. According to the Editor-in-Chief of the News outfit, Mark C. Orgu, said that, the theme for this year’s event is 2023: The kind of leaders Nigeria need, our Collective responsibility, which will be delivered by Prof. Solomon Akinboye, a professor of Political Science and International Relations, University of Lagos. Panelists at the event will include, Dr. Tunji Abayomi, Dr. Rueben Abati, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, and Dr. Kabiru Adamu. Also, the gathering will be chaired by Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, the Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos while Sen. Anthony Adefuye is the father of the day. The event is expected to attract prominent Nigerians across board as 2021 Afrikanwatch Memoir will be unveiled while the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is expected to deliver a keynote address.
