ABUJA-President Bola Tinubu has approved the reassignment of portfolios to some ministers-designate, as announced today, Sunday, by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Ajuri Ngelale, who stated that the former Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola who was earlier given the portfolio of transportation is now redeployed as the Honourable Minister of Marine & Blue Economy, Abubakar Momoh, Minister for Youth, now Minister for Niger Delta Development, while Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo is now as the Honourable Minister of Interior. Others redeployment are, Hon. Sa’idu Alkali as the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Heineken Lokpobiri, Hon. Minister of State (Oil), Petroleum Resources.
Furthermore, both Ministers of State in the Oil & Gas sector are now domiciled in the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources with the following designations: Hon. Ekperipe Ekpo is the Honourable Minister of State (Gas), Petroleum Resources.
President Tinubu also approved the renaming of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management as the Federal Ministry of Environment. The Federal Ministry of Youth is to be re-assigned to a Minister-Designate soon.
