LAGOS-The 10th annual lecture and award of Afrikanwatch Network Communications will hold on April 30, at the College Hall, Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos, as prominent Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in their area of careers will be honoured with the African Gold Merit Award (AGMA), while some will be inducted into Afrikanwatch Network Hall of Prominence (ANHP), others with Afrikanwatch National Grandmentor, (ANGM). Meanwhile, the Head of News and Strategy of the Media outfit, Daniel Njienue, said that the theme for the lecture is, A New Nigeria, with innovative ideology, devoid of hypocritical leaders, to be delivered by a retired DSS Director, Dennis Amachree, as a former Director in the Nigerian Army legal Services, Col. (Dr) Abayomi Dare retd will chair the event while, Otunba Bamidele Dada, OFR, a former Minister of State for Agriculture and water resources is the father of the day.
