LAGOS-Afrikanwatch Network Communications has applauded the Governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, for appointing a proficient academic orator, Prof. Patrick Egbule, as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University of Agriculture & Environmental Studies (UAES), Imo State, noting that the governor has done well by recognizing excellence and track records.
Egbule is a Professor of Agricultural and Workforce Education and the Director of Academic Planning, Delta State University, Abraka, before his new appointment. He was a former Head of Department and Dean of Vocational Education of the same Institution. Egbule was also a former President, Nigeria Vocational Association, (NVA) among others.
Meanwhile, the Editor-in-chief of Afrikanwatch Network, Mark C Orgu has congratulated professor Egbule, stressing however, that his appointment is as a result of hard work, dedication to duty, research and development, including proven track records in leadership. “Egbule has distinguished himself among his equals and I have no doubt of his ability to turn the fortune of the University into a world class entrepreneurial Institution where human capacity will be built”, Orgu stressed.
