By Angel James, News/comments, January 23, 2020. ASABA-The minority leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, representing Ethiope East Constituency, Hon. Innocent Anidi, and Hon. Barrister Charles Oniyere, representing Ughelli North Constituency 1, of the All Progressive Congress, APC, have in a strong term condemned the action of Solomon Adodo and his groups over a baseless image damage cooked as an allegation of forgery and conviction by US court against the person of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy President of the Senate, describing it as not only a character assassination but sardonic. The duo however noted that Adodo’s group should be arrested for public disturbance and bridge of public peace. “It behooves on us to say that the hungry looking Solomon Adodo, and his group have failed to know that Omo-Agege’s political portfolio over the years have remained credible with immense accomplishment” The lawmakers further hinted that Adodo’s act portends danger ahead if the baseless allegation is not stopped with immediate effect. They wonder why Adodo and his group will not channel their resourceful energy and time to better their lives rather than resolve to wasting their precious time on what is needless. ” Let us remind political distractors and job seekers, that Senator Omo Agege can never be distracted with mere allegations, knowing well that God chooses who he makes, and so , whatever trap enemies of progress set against his personality would soon be scattered like packs of card” The lawmakers therefore adviced Adodo and his group to quickly desist from their negative tendencies and give peace a chance as the Urhobo Nation and the good people of Nigeria will resist any diabolic agitation that will create security threat to the good administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. |
