Last week Saturday, Afrikanwatch Network Communications, a publishing and media consultancy outfit unveiled its 2025 blueprint plans, focusing on strategic partnership and development. The gathering was part of the news outfit end of the year get together, chaired by Prof. Solomon Akinboye, former Dean, School of Postgraduate studies, University of Lagos, and who is also a member of Afrikanwatch Advisory Council.

In his address, he applauded the efforts put in by the management of Afrikanwatch while promising that, the Council will key in into the media outfit’s plans. On his part, The Chairman of the Council. Amb. Chief (Dr) Nzeribe Okegbue, JP, the MD/CEO, Combatant Guards limited, a famous philanthropist reiterated his commitment towards the news outfit. He was represented by his son, Barr. Emmanuel Okegbue, who hailed Afrikanwatch for innovations and strategies.

Also speaking is the Chairman, Editorial Advisory board, Mr. Joe Ejiofor, expressing gratitude to all the council members as he wants all to continue to support young minds with giant strides for nation building.

Highlight of the gathering includes the unveiling of 2025 lecture, led by the Editor-In-Chief, Mark Orgu, titled : The Nigerian Leadership Structure and its Unsung National Heroes… A look at various media revelations . In his briefing, Orgu said: “2025 lecture will be chaired by a professor of political economy, and a renowned political scientist, Prof. Olatunde Babawale, Provost, Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria, (ACAN) while the Ace Journalist and columnist, Mr. Sam Omatseye, Chairman, Editorial Board of the Nation Newspaper, to deliver the lecture.
