ABUJA-Joining in mourning the departure of a former Delta State Acting Governor, Prince Sam Obi is the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, who said on Saturday in Abuja, that the sudden death of Obi came as shock; describing him as a man who devoted his life to the service of humanity, “Prince Sam Obi’s stewardship to Delta State and Nigeria over many years had been with great distinction.” Omo-Agege however further stated that the former acting governor was a core professional whose integrity was intact.

A man of very solid character, extra-ordinary administrator and a politician par excellence, who stood firmly for what he believed in.”
