The Association of Nigerian Residents and Professional in Mauritius, have lined up a programme to celebrate Nigeria @59, as a way of projecting the image of the country, both economically, socially and culturally.
In a press release by the President of the Association, Mr. Kehinde Adeyemi, through the office of the General Secretary, Engr. Philip Eju, said that the event will include projection of President Muhammadu Buhari’s independence address, live band, and speech from the High Commission. The statement further stated, that Nigerian citizens residing in the country should endeavour to attend.
Guest speaker of the day will be Mr. Gaya Vishwanath. Meanwhile, expected guests will include, Prof. Gadekar , Dr. Keskar, Director, Amity Institute and many others.
The event is expected to hold at the Caudan Waterfront, Port Louis.
Mauritius is one of the fastest growing East African Countries; a part of African continent geographically located in the Indian Ocean, intersected by the Asian Continent, with the fusion of different languages, religions, and cultures.
