LAGOS-The cradle of Higher Learning in Nigeria, Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos begins its radio full operation last week, as the Rector of the College, Engr. Femi Omokungbe expressed satisfaction on the equipment put in place so far while also stating that its sustainability will depend on the management of the station. The Radio, 89. 3 FM will operate like any other station in the State but in restricted areas.

However, the Director of Special Duties of the College, Ms. Biekoroma Amapakabo, who supervised the Completion of the station, commended the undaunting spirit of the Rector towards the project, noting that the Rector was keen at ensuring that the radio becomes a reality, even with numerous projects in the College.
Also speaking, is Mrs. Bimbo Oyetunde, who acted as a Consultant to the radio station till its completion appreciated the Rector and the College Management for the opportunity to supervise and handle the establishment and operation of the radio station.
