KANO-The Kano State government on Monday, today, deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II. The removal of the Emir follows the State Council executive meeting presided over by the Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. Sanusi has now joined the Leagus of deposed kings in Nigeria, like, Oba Ovonramwen of 100 years ago, who was captured by British Consul-general Ralph Moor and casted before the British law, before he was exiled to Calabar where he died in January 1914.
